The Album's concept:
All the album will revolve around the idea of the ''recreation'', this concept It's very similar to the one that the musician of the romantic period used to hold. In other words my goal is to present very well- known pieces in a completely different way, inspired by the playing of great pianists such as Hofmann, Rachmaninoff, Horowitz, and Friedman. A strong historical research and an aim of creativity and freedom led me to conceive this idea that I'm sure that will result in a very fresh material able to reach interest of lots of people.
This concept of ''recreation'' is the one that will unify all the ages of music in this project. This concept reaches the limits between performing and composing music, sometimes materialized in free improvisations during the cadenzas, using alternative recently discovered passages wrote by the composer (but not usually played) or looking to give to the piece a new direction (What Rachmaninoff used to do as performer). This risky mission it's what shapes the idea for this album that I hope to call ''recreations'' opening a door for that way of understanding music almost forgotten nowadays.
